License types explained
Every product lists its license on the card and product page. Here's what each one means. When in doubt, read the product's license summary or contact us.
Personal
For personal, non-commercial projects. Use the product yourself; don't resell, redistribute or use it for paid client work.
Commercial
For client and commercial work. Use the product in unlimited end products you or your clients own. No reselling the file itself.
Extended
Everything in Commercial, plus use in items for resale (print-on-demand, templates you sell) and broader distribution. Check each product for specifics.
PLR — Private Label Rights
Edit, rebrand and publish the product as your own. Typically you may sell the end result but not the editable source as-is.
MRR — Master Resell Rights
Resell the product as-is and pass on resell rights to your buyers, within the terms stated on the listing.
White-label
Rebrand and present the product under your own name/brand. Often used for SaaS, templates and reports.
Subscription
Ongoing access to a library or tool for as long as your subscription is active. Access ends if the subscription lapses.
License keys
A unique code that activates software or unlocks access. Keep it private — keys are tied to your purchase.
Where to find the license for a product
Every product carries its license in two places: a badge on the product card as you browse, and a License line on the product page itself. That line is the one that counts. If you already own the product, the same detail sits with your download in your account library.
What's true of everything here
Whatever license a product carries, some things don't change:
- Delivery is instant — your download link appears on the confirmation page and in your email the moment checkout completes.
- The version you bought stays yours. Access to it doesn't expire, except for subscription products, which say so plainly on the listing.
- You may use your own copy on your own devices, and keep your own backups of it.
What no license covers
Unless a product's listing explicitly grants resale rights — the Master Resell Rights and Private Label Rights tiers above — none of the following are permitted:
- Reselling, giving away or redistributing the file itself, edited or not.
- Sharing your download link, license key or account access. Those are tied to your purchase.
- Uploading the product to another marketplace, file host or template library.
The line worth remembering: most licenses buy you the right to use the product, including in work you are paid for. Selling the product on is a separate right, and only some listings grant it.
If this page and a product ever disagree
The product listing wins. These summaries cover the common cases, but individual products sometimes narrow or extend them — where they do, the terms on that page are the ones you bought.
Still not sure?
Licensing questions are worth asking before you buy rather than after. Tell us what you are planning to do with the file and we will tell you plainly whether it is covered — get in touch and we will come back to you.
