A private, offline coverage matrix for brand and product assets — every size, format and variant each one owes, exactly which are missing, and which exports went stale when the asset changed — 31 tools in one, and a partly exported asset is counted incomplete rather than 93% done.

31 built-in tools in one app. An asset library with kind, owner and variants — light, dark, mono and reversed — and a target list holding every size, format and platform anyone asks for, each marked required or optional; named packs grouping targets into a favicon set, an app-icon set or a social set; the coverage matrix itself, assets down and targets across with one cell per deliverable, so a gap is visible at a glance rather than discovered at handover; a coverage count that treats an asset as COMPLETE only when every required target is present — an asset holding 13 of 14 is incomplete, not 92.857143% complete, and complete, partial and not-started assets are counted separately rather than averaged into one flattering percentage; optional targets held outside the required denominator and counted on their own; a missing list naming exactly what is absent, breakdowns by platform and by format, scale factors resolving to real pixel sizes, and a duplicates view flagging two targets asking for the same pixel size under different names; a filename convention with a live example, a linter naming which rule each offending filename breaks, and a generated list of every expected filename; a staleness view treating an export made before its asset last changed as missing rather than present; plus a printable handover checklist, CSV exports, a JSON backup and a Method page stating exactly how coverage is counted.

The matrix. One cell per deliverable, so an entire missing row or column is obvious. Cells carry the filename the convention generates, and clicking one records the export rather than requiring a spreadsheet alongside.

Scale factors. 6 targets at 1x, 2x and 3x is 18 deliverables, and a 180 × 180 target at 2x is 360 × 360. The pixel size of every scaled target is resolved and shown, because that is the number that goes in the filename.

Naming lint. A filename convention with placeholders, a live example, and a linter that names the specific rule each offending filename breaks rather than only marking it wrong.

Assetkit is a specification, costing and record-keeping tool for design and production work. Every figure it reports is computed by a stated formula from the sizes, prices, counts and rates YOU enter, and every figure carries its UNIT, because px, pt, mm, bytes, milliseconds and dpi are different quantities and confusing them is the classic failure in this field. Where a geometry has to close — a grid against its container, a proration, a coverage matrix — it is reconciled rather than rounded, and a disagreement is reported instead of absorbed. Where a rule comes from a published standard or an industry convention, the standard is named and its parameters are yours to change; where a figure rests on something you assumed rather than measured, it is labelled an assumption at the point of use.
