Steady state. 200 cards at an average 15-day interval is 13.3 reviews a day. The same division runs on your own cards, with the exact sum of 1 ÷ interval shown beside it so the gap between the two is visible rather than buried.

Retention, with its sample. The denominator counts answers, not cards, and a card never answered is excluded rather than counted as a failure. Anything under the sample floor you set is flagged as too small to read as a rate.

Interval is a planning, scheduling and record-keeping tool for people who study, teach or sell what they know. Every figure it reports is computed by a stated formula from the times, counts, prices and thresholds YOU enter, and those thresholds are editable because they are conventions rather than laws. Where it implements a published scheme, it names the scheme and exposes its parameters: a review schedule orders your practice, it does not predict what you will remember, and a statistic computed from a small number of responses is reported with that number beside it because it cannot be read as fact.
