Loomwright — Warp Calculations, Sett & Yarn — a premium, 100% offline digital tool by Aceplore. Runs entirely in your browser: no accounts, no subscriptions, your data never leaves your device.

A private, offline bench book for weaving — warp length built from five separate lines, take-up and shrinkage kept apart because they multiply, a sleying plan for the ends that do not divide, and the loom waste paid once per warp. 34 tools in one.

34 built-in tools in one app. A yarn register with wraps per inch and metres per 100 g; a sett view suggesting a starting point from the wraps you counted and labelling it a starting point to SAMPLE rather than a correct answer; an ends view from width and sett; a WARP-LENGTH view building the figure from five separate lines — woven length, take-up, shrinkage, loom waste and fringe — because omitting any one of them wastes a warp; take-up and shrinkage kept apart with the reason given, since they MULTIPLY rather than add and 10% then 6% is a factor of 1.166 and not 1.16, with the gap between the two shown; a loom-waste view making clear the waste is paid ONCE PER WARP rather than per piece, so the per-piece cost falls as pieces are added — the whole argument for a long warp; total warp and weft yarn in metres and in grams through the metres-per-100g figure you recorded, a stock check and a substitution view; a reed view giving the ends per dent a sett implies and a SLEY PLAN for the remainder when they do not divide evenly, rather than rounding it away; width in reed and draw-in; looms with their limits and a fits view; threading, tie-up and treadling drafts drawn in SVG with a check for a draft that exceeds the shafts available; colour order, stripe plans and cost per piece; plus CSV exports, a JSON backup and a Method page.

Five lines. 200 × 1.10 × 1.06 + 60 = 293.2 cm.

Sley. 605 ends at 2 per dent leaves 1, and it is placed rather than dropped.

Loomwright is a planning, costing and record-keeping tool for craft and workshop work. Every figure it reports is computed by a stated formula from the measurements, prices and rates YOU enter, and every figure carries its UNIT. Grams and millilitres are never treated as interchangeable: wherever a mass becomes a volume or the reverse, the DENSITY used is printed beside the result and is yours to change. Every percentage names the quantity it is a percentage of at the point of use, because a rate on the wax is not a rate on the finished candle, a superfat is a reduction of the lye rather than an addition of oil, and a depth of shade is against the dry fibre rather than the bath. Saponification values, densities, shrinkage rates, cone references, thread factors, setts, feed rates, gauges and waste allowances are REFERENCE FIGURES that vary by supplier, batch and machine: each one is editable data, is shown beside the result it produced, and is a starting point to verify against your own supplier rather than a fact. Where a craft involves a caustic, a solvent, a kiln, a laser, a dye powder or a heat source, the hazard is stated where the calculation appears — this is a calculator and a record, not a safety authority, and it is no substitute for the manufacturer's and supplier's own safety data. It runs entirely in your browser with no network access of any kind and reports only what you recorded. It does not promise an outcome: not a successful firing, not a cured casting, not a safe or skin-safe batch, not a food-safe glaze, not a saleable piece.

Each product ships with a clear license tier. Personal covers individual, non-commercial use; Commercial covers client and commercial work; Extended adds resale and SaaS rights. Pick your tier on this page.
