A sponsor buys thirty days. Your episodes do not stop on day thirty-one.

Podcast sponsorship is sold against a window. The rate card is quoted on the downloads that arrive in the first thirty days and the invoice is settled on that basis. Nothing about the episode stops there — it stays in the feed and keeps being found for years. Every one of those later downloads is an impression you delivered and were never paid for.

PodForge measures that gap from your own figures, prices it at your own rate, and gives you the letter that sells it. In the worked sample show that ships with it, 31.4% of everything the settled episodes ever delivered arrived after the window closed.

Twenty-one screens. The tail nobody paid for · how an episode ages, measured only over the episodes old enough to say · what a download actually counts · sponsors and deals at the rate they really came to · slots and fill rate · four different rates per thousand and why only one is your rate card · the back catalogue priced as its own product · what an episode costs · cadence, with the confounded answer shown next to the honest one · guests, formats and topics · where they listen · members · music and clip rights · why sponsors leave.

Nine calculators, each opening on figures read from your own ledger rather than a blank form. Six letters — a rate card, a back-catalogue pitch, a rate rise with the reason attached, and the honest answer to give when a sponsor asks for attribution nobody in this trade can supply.

It will not tell you how many people listen to your show. There is no listener count anywhere in the file and no function converts a download into one, because the conversion does not exist. That refusal gets its own screen. It also declines to price four things that need a judgement no arithmetic can supply, and says which four.

An episode published six weeks ago has not failed. It has not had the chance. Every lifetime figure is measured only over the episodes old enough to have reached the month being measured, and the young ones are reported separately rather than counted as failures.

In the folder: the application as one offline HTML file (no account, no server, no network request of any kind), a fourteen-sheet companion workbook where every figure is a live formula and a Checks sheet reconciles the book against itself, a Quick Start guide, a full manual, and the licence.

Personal covers individual, non-commercial use. Commercial covers client and commercial work. Extended adds resale and SaaS rights. Pick your tier above.
